Job Description:

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for performing complex clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments and prepare accounting statements and financial reports.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Process vendor invoices in a timely manner, including obtaining proper approval, matching, coding, and entry into ERP system.Execute cash disbursements for payments in accordance with policies and proceduresPerforms BOM analysis and verification as part of our bills of materials and routings review. Ensure an annual 100 percent review of bills of materials and routings and enter in the tracking systemEnsure proper policies and procedures are followed.Coordinate with audit requests and coordination with external and internal auditors.Assist in tracking and validating productivity and project savings.Assist the Controller with financial reporting and analysis as required.Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as requestedPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift (including overhead) and/or up to 15 lbs.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time salaried position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Hours are generally Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.TravelThere is no anticipated overnight travel for this position. Some local day travel may be required.Required Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required, with some bookkeeping coursework.Two to three years of related experience required.Microsoft Office & ERP experience is required, experience in Global Shop Solutions is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.Must have exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and maintain necessary documentation.Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skillsPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
