Job Description:
Responsibilities--- Support daily production operations by
responding to tactical safety, quality, efficiency, and
manufacturing issues by supporting/leading performance/process
improvements for the team--- Support investigations and corrective
action(s) related to a variety of manufacturing issues (parts,
tooling, equipment, etc.) in a timely and effective manner---
Support QIT (Quality Improvement Teams) for the OFP (Order
Fulfillment Process) quality team assigned for quality activities
and resolution of issues--- Execute the established quality control
plans and create and update PFMEAs (Process Failure Modes and
Effects Analysis) for work centers--- Manage non-conforming
material for assigned work area(s)--- Support the John Deere
Continuous Improvement (CI) processWhat Skills You Need--- 1-3
years of experience in supporting shop floor/manufacturing
operations--- Working knowledge of basic assembly tooling and
equipment--- Direct experience with drawing and schematic
interpretation, product models, and GD&T--- Knowledge of
standard quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 3 Legged
5 Why--- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite--- Strong written
and verbal English communication skills with the ability to
communicate cross functionally with both salary and wage
workforce--- Ability to work flexible hours and over time as
neededWhat Makes You Stand OutOther areas of experience or interest
that will help us place you on the right team include:--- Direct
experience working with the John Deere Assembly Assist Tool
(JDAAT)--- 1+ years of experience in one or more related
engineering areas: industrial, production, reliability, design,
manufacturing, quality--- 1+ years of experience with engineering
tools, systems and databases--- 1+ years of experience in use of
statistical tools and techniques for quality management--- 1+ years
of experience working with SAP--- Knowledge of product, customer,
markets and competitorsEducationIdeally, you will have a degree or
equivalent work experience in Engineering/Technology discipline or
equivalent experience
