Join Cerebral Staffing, LLC on site at our client John Deere in Moline, IL -as a Factory Automation Engineer!Location: Moline, ILDuration -of Role: - 2+ yearsPay: -$45.50-$48.75 / hourlyHours: 3rd Shift (can vary, but generally 9pm - 7am), position will move back to day-shift during shutdown periods (spring and summer)DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of moderate scope.
• Provides support and trouble shooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data and implement solutions.
• Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.
• Applies electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including ebuilds, modeling and simulations.
• Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System of moderate scope. Designs operations layouts. Improves material flow and material presentation.
• Leads team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency of moderate scope.
• Leads analysis, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.
• Analyzes and makes modifications to existing performance pay plans; assists in development of baseline data for new performance pay plans.REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • PLC programming and Automation/Controls experience
  • -Allen Bradley PLC and User Interfaces -experience
  • Designing and reading electrical prints using AutoCAD -experienceDESIRED:
    • SQL database -experienceAdditional notes:This position is eligible (based off performance) for incremental, progressive retention bonuses at every 90 days for the first year on assignment. $5,000 for the first year broken down below:
      • $750 at 3 months
      • $1,000 at 6 months
      • $1,250 at 9 months
      • $2,000 at 12 monthsPPE Requirements: Metatarsal Foot Protection (employee to provide). PPE requires Metatarsal Foot Protection, as well as long pants (jeans or work pants). All additional PPE will be provided onsite.
        Physical Requirements: Employee will be required to travel between office area and manufacturing floor multiple times per day. This is a hybrid role of computer/office work combined with direct shop floor interaction. -Powered by JazzHR
