Job Description Job Description Our client is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join a growing, customer-focused team. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hot water systems, DX systems, chillers, VRV/VRF systems, and low voltage controls across eastern Iowa, western Illinois, Missouri, and Minnesota. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | Relocation Assistance: Limited Responsibilities: Identify opportunities for additional services and solutions. Travel within the assigned territory; minimal overnight stays. Lead small project teams or mentor junior technicians as needed. Provide technical training and support to clients and junior technicians. Maintain accurate service records using mobile systems and company laptop. Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems: hot water, DX, chillers, cooling towers, VFDs, fan systems, and low voltage controls. Conduct equipment inspections, start-ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance. Qualifications/Must -Haves: Valid driver's license. Valid HVAC license and EPA certification. Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude. Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work in confined or elevated spaces. High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 5 years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial settings. Expertise in hot water, DX systems, chillers, VRV/VRF, and low voltage controls. Nice-to-Haves: Daikin equipment training or experience. Willingness to travel within assigned territory. NATE certification or other advanced HVAC credentials. Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial facilities. Experience with VFDs and industrial refrigeration systems. Technical Tools: Mobile app usage for real-time job updates and customer documentation. Proficiency with field service management (FSM) software such as ServiceTitan or FieldEdge.
