(Onsite) The Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT) Department within
Mission Systems is committed to enhancing training capability and
realism, enabling U.S. warfighters and international partners to
“train like you fight.” Our ACTT engineering team develops
state-of-the-art cryptographic, datalink, networking, and command
and control systems that support threat and weapon simulations.
These advanced systems allow military pilots to practice combat
maneuvers in the air without the risks or cost associated with
firing live weapons. We specialize in designing secure Air Combat
Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) systems, guiding them from
concept through accreditation, production, and installation. What
You Will Do: Perform System of Systems (SoS) integration,
troubleshooting and verification testing Conduct trade studies to
influence design decisions Work in a flexible, collaborative Agile
development environment Build strong relationships communicating
with team members and customers Manage multiple competing tasks
while balancing priorities Travel to US ranges, often on a short
notice, for installation and flight test support Collect data and
perform standard analysis of data, identifying findings as
appropriate What You Will Learn: You will gain platform systems
level experience on a complex SoS program You will gain exposure to
multiple key technologies with opportunities to develop subject
matter expertise in related areas Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree,
6 years of relevant experience Active and transferable U.S.
government issued secret security clearance is required prior to
start date Must be able to travel up to 20% throughout the year
Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with cryptography, datalink,
networking, and command and control applications Experience with
communication systems, navigation systems, and networks Experience
with design, analysis, test, and certification, integrating them
into the Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Training Environment
Experience with Python scripting and test automation Exposure to
air combat or military test and training concepts of operations
Experience investigating problems to root cause and implementing
corrective actions Experience with aircraft bus interface and

for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer,

education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be
