Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois (US-IL) - Moline Function: Product Engineering Title: Engineering Analyst - 47265 Your Responsibilities As an Engineering Analyst for John Deere Seeding Group, located in Moline, IL, you will write and proof production level specifications for design changes to complex parts and assemblies related to major programs and product improvements. In addition, you will: Analyze engineering data and other related data for Product Delivery Process (PDP) / Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) tools and processes Use the Deere engineering change process Create, coordinate and maintain complex Bills of Material, Material Masters, drawing revisions and part attribute data Provide work direction and train team members and other users as needed to assure work is completed using proper processes Use knowledge and experience to serve as a liaison and consultant Provide feedback that affects specification and decision activities Serve as specification representative for project teams Complete various specification audits and monitor engineering changes to ensure data integrity and uniformity Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need Experience working with the Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) system, Engineering Change Management (ECM) and cProjects workflow Previous work experience with analyzing and understanding information from specification and decision release systems Experience in NetWeaver Business Client and ability to navigate in PDMLink Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to quickly learn and consistently execute complex procedures and processes Excellent communication skills to provide clear communication to various functional areas Knowledge of the Product Delivery Process (PDP) and Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) programs What Makes You Stand Out Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include: Demonstrated analytical skills in problem solving situations Experience supporting Deere PDM/Spec Analysts, Product Design, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering, as well as Supply Management and Service. Experience working in Microsoft Excel with formulas, pivot tables and conditional formatting.
