Title: NOC Engineer and/or Incident ManagerLocation: Moline IL (Onsite) Duration: Full Time Shift: Rotational Shifts(Including night shift) Responsibilities

  • Good understanding of ITIL V3 / 2011 framework
  • Good Knowledge in Infrastructure services
  • To have a reasonable understanding of Cost Management principles
  • To have practical experience of continuous improvement methods and techniques
  • To have a good understanding of statistical and analytical principles and processes to have a good understanding of available and emerging IT technologies
  • Monitor the network and infrastructure for the enterprise
  • Experience in Application Specific Monitoring tools
  • Verify and validate the issues within environment
  • Work in conjunction with the Incident Commander and assist them in engaging resources as required.
  • Overseeing all Priority 1, Priority 2 tickets through to restoration of service including Priority 3 incidents as warranted;
  • Able to use the tools provided to triage and escalate critical and major issues within the environment
  • Escalate incident tickets as required;
  • Facilitate teleconference forums;
  • Remaining engaged through to service restoration and ensuring senior leadership is aware of activities being carried out
  • Deliver quality of service by adhering to Symantecs methodologies and standards
  • Experience and conversant in the use of incident, problem and change management processes according to the ITIL framework.
  • Be an effective team player and be able to work closely with team members from various locations
  • Experience in working with ITSM tools and also working knowledge on ITIL framework
  • Be self-starters and actively pursue the best outcome by following up in a timely manner
  • Ability to follow processes set in place for the team and execute the same with perfection
  • Providing 24-hour, 7-day a week support on a rotational basis;
  • Incident Management Background Needed
  • NOC / SOC/ Operations Exposure (L2 Support)
  • Day 1 Onsite - 24*7 need
  • Sr Service Desk (Windows, Citrix, Linux, Unix)/ Data Center L 1.5 / Server Issue Managing Incident Management P1 and P2 priority
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • On call Support (10-15 calls per day)
