As a member of the Senior Management Team, the COO is responsible
for the development of the organization's operations strategic
goals. In addition to the strategic components, the COO will be
charged with developing and implementing operations policies and
procedures and overseeing management of personnel in operations
support, information technology support, debit card operations,
facilities management, and branches. While overseeing branches and
departments, the COO will hold people accountable while utilizing
coaching and counseling skills to keep employees engaged. A
thorough understanding of operations is critical to the success of
this role, including IT, data processing, branch management,
facilities, security, contracts, etc.
BankORION maintains a strong capital position, low overhead, and a
good ROA and ROE. The bank survived the past recession with

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive oversight of core processing system and internet banking
Serve as member of management team to ensure efficient and
integrated bank operations.
Serve as member of Technology Committee.
Act as Security Officer.
Conduct and serve as lead for operations analysis related to
profitability, projects, trends/ideas, and innovations.
Oversee back-office departments to ensure continuity with branch
Identify operations training needs and assist in
coordinating/conducting training as needed.
Equipment purchasing at all locations.
Oversee data processing, courier/maintenance operations staffing.
Ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained through
department supervisors. Establish and monitor staff performance and
development goals. Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and
