Primary Location: United States (US)- Illinois- MolineFunction: CommunicationTitle: Communications Manager, Workforce RelationsOnsite/Remote: Your Responsibilities As a Communications Manager, Workforce Relations for Deere & Company located in Moline, IL, you will have the following responsibilities: + Develop and implement communication plans to ensure production employees are informed of and understand key Labor Relations initiatives, and how they apply to and can benefit the employee experience + Align communications with the John Deere Strategy, enterprise employee communications, division communications, and factory communications to ensure messages are consistent + Serve as a resource to factory communicators and others to provide information and help ensure processes are integrated + Develop and edit formal communication tools (content for newsletters, videos, etc.) to cascade common messages to employees Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need + Knowledge of the communication planning process and measurement techniques + Understanding of communication theories, especially employee/internal communications + Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy, and style + Knowledge of change management principles and techniques + Strong understanding and knowledge of communications working in a factory, and how communications flow there for employee audiences What Makes You Stand Out+ Experience in writing, editing, media relations, video creation, and speech writing + A broad background of business experience within or outside the company + Cross-functional work experience in multiple areas + Project management experience including plan development, budget management, team management, requirements gathering, delivery, and deployment + Experience in the research, analysis, and synthesis of information integration into enterprise business processes and decision-making Education Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: + BachelorsDegree in a Communications/Journalism discipline What You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
