We are looking to hire a Licensed Physical Therapist.As a Licensed Physical Therapist at MercyOne, you will plan, administer, implements, and evaluates physical therapy for all appropriate programs and services within the PM & R department, for all patient age groups. - Possesses the skills necessary to provide direct patient care specific to each age group in accordance with department protocol. - The age of the patients served range in age from infants to geriatrics.Schedule:

• Float position with weekend rotation and 1-2 holidays per yearGeneral Requirements:
  • Must be able to function as a physical therapist in all commonly practiced aspects of patient evaluation and treatment appropriate for assigned age group.
  • Must be able to give clear instructions to individuals and groups ranging from infant to geriatric.
  • Must be able to plan day-to-day activities and work independently.
  • Must be able to put patients at ease and make them comfortable.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively work with other hospital employees and guests. -Education:
    • Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) by the State of Iowa to practice as a Physical Therapist. -
