Requirements:
--- MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent
--- Successful completion of an approved residency training program in Anesthesiology
--- Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or in the certification process
--- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Iowa
--- Expertise in general anesthesia or subspecialty areas such as ambulatory, cardiovascular/thoracic, neurosurgical, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and transplant anesthesia.

Responsibilities:

--- Provide anesthesia services across multiple clinical areas, including ambulatory, cardiovascular/thoracic, obstetrical, neurosurgical, pediatric, regional, and transplant anesthesia
--- Independently manage anesthesia care and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
--- Supervise and mentor medical trainees, including residents and SRNAs
--- Collaborate with CRNAs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
--- Perform invasive procedures, including ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and line placements
--- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
--- Participate in academic activities, including teaching and clinical research (preferred)
