TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Dialysis RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61637! Pay Information $2,330 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hour days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: At least one year of dialysis experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Must understand and comply with a drug-free workplace and be able to produce a negative drug screen. Description: Perform dialysis procedures including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Plasmapheresis treatment experience is preferred but not required. Oversee the treatments performed by hemodialysis technicians and assist in troubleshooting. Utilize Epic charting along with hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis machines. Participate in training tailored to current competency levels in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and therapeutic apheresis. Expect to perform 1:1 treatments outside of the dialysis unit with support from other employees as needed. Be aware that some off-unit hemodialysis treatments may be assigned. The nurse-to-patient ratio in the unit is supported by a charge nurse, an RN, and 4-5 technicians daily. Wearing scrubs is required as part of the dress code.
