Job Description Non-Invasive Cardiology opening in Cedar Rapids, IA - Cedar Rapids; Des Moines 100m Overview and Benefits - Established team of 15 physicians and 8 Advanced Practitioners - Established practice serving the Cedar Rapids community, and satellite outreach clinics in Anamosa, Manchester, and 3 other communities. - Diverse practice covers sub-specialization in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology. - Part of a large multi-specialty group, including primary care, providing a built-in referral base. - Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community - Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access - Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities: - Clinic hours: M-F 830AM-5PM - Shared call among the providers - Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient - Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve - Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care - Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment - Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications: - M.D. or D.O. - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology; Board exam must be completed within one year of hire date - Ability to work as a team member - Excellent communication, written and verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
