This role is pivotal in ensuring the proper dispensation of medications and providing exceptional care to our diverse client base. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of pharmacy staff and coordinate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes, representing Walmart's mission to help people save money so they can live better. Manage and oversee the operation of the entire pharmacy unit. Supervise and train pharmacy staff to ensure optimal service provision. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of medication for customers. Implement health and safety guidelines to prevent errors and ensure the safety of customers. Consult with patients and healthcare providers to optimize care. Develop strategies to improve patient care, streamline workflow, and increase the productivity of the pharmacy. Handle administrative tasks, including budgeting and reporting. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of pharmacology and its applications. Proficient in pharmaceutical software and database management. Ability to manage a team efficiently under high-pressure situations. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
