Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced Radiology Technologist to work in a busy Level 1 trauma center with ARRT and BLS certifications required. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an acute care hospital within the diagnostic radiology department - Level 1 trauma center treating a high volume of emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical cases - Duties include imaging for inpatient, outpatient, ER patients, and frequent coverage of surgical cases - Commonly used equipment includes OEC and Carestream - EPIC EMR is used; experience is preferred - Day shift schedule with 5 x 8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - Weekend shifts required every third weekend; weekend coverage may vary for travelers - No holiday or call/standby requirement - Must be able to work effectively in fast-paced trauma situations and independently perform diagnostic imaging procedures - Orientation provided with approximately 10-12 hours at the start of the assignment - Scrubs must follow facility dress code; scrubs provided only when assigned in the OR - Facility enforces a drug-free workplace policy, and candidates must provide a negative drug screen - No COVID vaccination required for assignment - Local candidates are eligible, with special local rates for those living within 50 miles of the facility /n /n Requirements/n - Active ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required - Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist in a busy, high-acuity setting - Experience working independently in a Level 1 trauma center required - Operating Room experience required - Experience with OEC, Carestream, and Epic strongly preferred - Must be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work efficiently under pressure - License required if applicable and must be active at time of consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661909.
