Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Davenport, IA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide 24-hour inpatient coverage in Davenport, IA, and the nearby Silvis campus. The locum will be responsible for managing acute orthopedic trauma cases , including fractures, dislocations, and same-day add-on surgeries. The provider will perform procedures across trauma, spine, hand, and podiatry subspecialties, coordinate care with nurses and APPs in the OR , and utilize imaging and lab services for diagnosis and treatment planning. This role ensures level III trauma coverage , supports the surgical team, and contributes to the efficient flow of 230–250 daily hospital patients while maintaining high-quality patient care. Shift Timings: 24-hour inpatient shifts 7–10 shifts per month On-call coverage, hospital-based only (no clinic) Requirements Board-Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship Trained in Orthopedics Active IA and/or IL medical license or Active IMLC Clean malpractice/background record Clinical experience in trauma and inpatient orthopedic surgery Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days) Benefits Competitive pay Exposure to high-volume orthopedic trauma cases Hands-on surgical experience across multiple subspecialties ??
