Job Description:

Mississippi Valley Surgery Center is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterile Processing Technician to ensure the proper decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will support patient safety and surgical excellence by maintaining strict adherence to infection control standards. This position is Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or call. MVSC offers competitive wages and benefits. Prior experience in a healthcare or ASC sterile processing environment is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Must be able to lift and handle surgical instruments weighing up to 30 lb. Knowledge of AAMI, AORN, and CDC standards is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician training program is preferred. Certification (CRCST or CBSPD) preferred
