Clinical Therapist-Supervisor Job Summary: The Children s Trauma Services Program Manager s primary responsibility lies within the coordination and oversight of Safe from the Start (SFS) Program daily operations to ensure the facilitation of services to children who have been exposed to violence/ trauma (who have been accepted within SFS programming) and their families, as warranted/ appropriate. It is also an expectation that this position facilitates direct service (therapeutic, consultation etc.)(not to exceed .5 FTE) as indicated/ warranted. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required to meet the mission and goals of the Child Abuse Council. Essential Duties: Manage all components involved in the delivery of daily program servicesAssist with the development of program plans and budgets, monitor program budgets, oversee all budgeted program purchases/expenses and assist with budget reallocationsServe as a primary program liaison to funding sources, evaluation consultants and the general community.Collect, maintain and report program outcome measures as dictated by quarterly reporting requirements and the internal Child Abuse Council Quality Assurance CommitteeSupervise Program Staff and conduct annual performance reviewsFacilitate family/ individual therapy sessions, consulting with clinical supervision as needed.Facilitate Consultation services for select community partners and/ or maintain a limited client caseload.Guarantee maintenance of client files and accurate records of program related activities.Remain cognizant of best practices, current developments and legislation in the violence field.Participate in external committees as needed/ appropriate.Mandated reporter for child/elderly abuse, neglect, and exploitation.Participation in on-going professional education and skill-development.Assume additional responsibilities as requested by upper management. Minimum Qualifications: Master s degree in counseling, social work, or related field preferred3-5 Years of Clinical/ Therapeutic experience working with children and families3-5 Years of Supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated capacity for all facets of program management General skills in program planning, implementation and evaluationKnowledge of human growth and development, family systems, dynamics of child abuse and neglect and family violenceAbility to embrace organizational goals and work in a team-oriented environmentAbility to adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirementsWorking knowledge of developmental skills of children 0-5Ability/ Experience working with Outcome Reporting, Quality Assurance and Grants Writing.Strong organizational skills and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsMust be able to pass a background check, including criminal history, child abuse registry, sex offender registry and driving abstract.Must have a valid driver s license, proof of insurance and be able to provide own transportation for outreach services along with local and regional training.Bilingual a plus, but not requiredSend resume and cover letter to to apply.Child Abuse Council Associated topics: aseptic, biomedical, biopharma, clinical, health, injury, medical, nephrology, nutrition, patient
