Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois (US-IL) - Moline Function: Information Technology Title: Software Engineer - 60227 Your Responsibilities As a Software Engineer in the John Deere Order Management program, you will get the rare opportunity to work on a large-scale global web application in a Fortune 500 company that is regularly ranked among the best companies to work for in the country. In this position, you will be responsible for collaborating with other engineers to drive application development and design to meet the business requirements for the Order Management solution. Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need: * Proficiency with one or more of the following: Java web development with Spring and RESTful APIs, JavaScript utilizing React, and/or SAP ABAP * Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. * Previous technical experience through an internship or part-time student position. What Makes You Stand Out: * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment * Experience implementing code using Test Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Test Frameworks * Experience with DevSecOps principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery * Experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS or Azure * Varied database experience (e.g. MongoDB, DB2, SAP HANA) Education (or equivalent work experience) Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field *Must be able to relocate domestically.
