We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation's biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Senior Software Engineer. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Job Responsibilities
Compensation (Range): - $66-70/hour
Java Spring (Back End)
Cloud experience
JavaScript (Front End)
This team is currently working a hybrid schedule - they are in the office every Wednesday. Candidates must be able to accommodate this schedule. Remote candidates will only be considered if they are willing to relocate (at their own expense) at the beginning of the assignment.
Recent graduates are not a good fit for this position
Hours of work - M-F 8am-5pm (start time is flexible). There is an on-call rotation that this position will participate in

Senior Software Engineer
Job Requirements
As a Senior Software Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
5+ years of experience with Java web development with Spring and RESTful APIs
5+ years of varied database experience (e.g. MongoDB, DB2, SAP HANA)
5+ years of experience with JavaScript development utilizing REACT, Redux, HTML and CSS
3+ years of experience in Cloud development & infrastructure in AWS or Azure
2+ years of experience with TDD and acceptance test-driven development utilizing J-Unit, Cucumber, Jest, Puppeteer, Enzyme, etc.
2+ years of work experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers
Success implementing innovative ideas and helping lead change within your team
Strong desire to learn and develop skills outside of the Java, Cloud, and UI tech stack including in areas such as SAP ABAP and SAP HANA
Should have good communication skills
