Job Description Job Description Cleaning Technician The Data Center Cleaning Technician performs specialized cleaning inside active construction data center sites. This is not standard janitorial work — it’s detailed, technical cleaning meant to protect sensitive equipment and infrastructure. Cleaning Technician Details: Temporary position $20.00 to $21.00 /hour Full Time work available Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm) Tuesday - Saturday 2:30pm - 10:30pm, $21/hr Perform dust control and contamination cleaning using HEPA vacuums and approved methods Clean work areas around subcontractors to maintain site cleanliness standards Reclean assigned zones multiple times per day as construction continues Remove dust, debris, and zinc whiskers that could damage equipment Perform detailed cleaning under raised floors and within plenums Assist with raised floor maintenance and live tile replacement (“Live Lift”) Support final cleaning before inspections and project turnover Follow cleanliness standards set by organizations like ISO and ASHRAE, along with manufacturer guidelines Maintain professionalism and communication in a team-heavy environment Follow all safety rules in energized, mission-critical spaces Cleaning Technician Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Able to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in tight spaces, on ladders, or lifts Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive work Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Able to work cooperatively with other trades on site Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
