GXO Logistics, a global leader in contract logistics, is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate to join our dynamic IT supply chain team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the logistics and supply chain processes within our state-of-the-art data centers. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our operations, contributing to enhanced customer experiences and cost reductions. This position requires a meticulous approach to inventory management, equipment handling, and logistics planning, ensuring that all IT components are accurately tracked and readily available to meet operational demands. Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of IT equipment within the data center. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory policies. Collaborate with IT and operational teams to forecast equipment needs and schedule deliveries. Implement and maintain logistics best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare reports on inventory and logistics status for upper management. Ensure the security and safety of the warehouse and stock through effective management practices. Proficiency in inventory management software and database systems. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Experience with logistics and supply chain management in a tech-focused environment. Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP) or similar is advantageous. Forklift operation certification.
