Program Supervisor Job Description: Bethany for Children & Families has an immediate, full-time opening for a Foster Care Program Supervisor. The Foster Care Program works with families involved with the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services due to reports of abuse or neglect where children have been placed in substitute care. The Foster Care Program works to promote permanency by maintaining, strengthening and safeguarding the functioning of families to 1) prevent substitute care placement, 2) promote family reunification, 3) stabilize foster care placements, 4) facilitate youth development, and 5) ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children. The position will serve Rock Island, Henry and Mercer counties in Illinois. Program Supervisor Performance Objectives: Provide direct case management supervision and support to the Foster Care Program case managers, ensuring compliance with DCFS and program polices, monitoring of service provision, quality assurance, and working collaboratively within a team environment, and Be required to perform some direct case management responsibilities. Program Supervisor Qualifications: A Master's Degree in social work or related field, Two years of supervisory experience, The ability to pass applicable background checks, A valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance, The ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, Computer proficiency, Strong organizational skills, and Strong written and verbal communication skills.
