Job Description:
Summary:Currently looking to hire a candidate to assist with the
assembling of custom projects! This is an environment engaged
exclusively in the design, manufacturing, and sale of lab
instruments and apparatuses for purposes such as - testing of
fuels, conducting chemical reactions and performing experiments
requiring heat and pressure. These products are mainly used for
research, quality assurance, production and teaching in labs, pilot
plants, and small scale manufacturing facilities. Candidates

doing different tasks are recommended to apply!Job Description:The
Special/Custom Assembler will perform mechanical and electrical
assembly tasks following drawings, schematics, and CAD modeling in
a prototype manufacturing environment
- Perform mechanical alignment of parts in orderly detail
resulting in a finished assembly.
- Perform electrical tasks of wiring, soldering, and testing
electrical connections.
- Follow all associated assembly test procedures and
documentation.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to utilize hand tools and test equipment.
- Ability to communicate with other departments including
engineering, sales, machine shops, shipping, etc.
- Interact with quality assurance, purchasing, and inventory
departments regarding parts.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.Preferred
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
with preference given to those who have worked in a prototype
manufacturing/assembly company.
- Ability to understand electrical circuits and schematics.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools (torque wrench, wire
cutter, wire stripper, various electrical terminal crimpers,
drills, electrical meters)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.Requirements:
- Will be required to regularly stand for a minimum of 8 hours
per day.
- Frequently require to grasp, handle, and feel objects; control
and manage tools; and use hands and arms.
- Occasionally require to walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Additional

- Day shift
- $19-$25/hr, dependent on experience
