Description: Works on a delivery team and supports systems and
Infrastructure deployment and/or maintenance by planning its work,
coordinating with others to deliver functionality on a system of
moderate complexity. This level works on low to medium complexity
infrastructure problems; applies technology to meet specific needs,
focusing on tasks with some complexity and is expected to develop
simple solutions to solve well- defined problems with guidance from
more senior team members. Infrastructure Engineer needed to work on
Enterprise Desktop Applications Agile delivery team to meet the
design and support needs for enterprise desktop productivity
software. This role will participate in planning work, coordinating
with others to deliver and testing solutions to deliver desktop
productivity software to our global organization. Delivers slightly
more complex Infrastructure use-cases. The role relies on
journey-level knowledge and experience on a single Infrastructure
technology (collaboration, desktop, network, server, storage, etc.)
and a good understanding of relevant components and systems.
Selection, planning, and implementation of changes to some subset
of the information technology infrastructure; requires some
contacts with multiple functional and business partners on tactical
issues and limited contact for planning issues. Receives guidance
when needed from Scrum Master/senior team member. Makes decisions
within established guidelines subject to review by supervisors.
This team is working a hybrid scheduled (specific days required to
work in the office). Responsibilities: Builds the work needed to
implement functionality from the product backlog (managed by the
product owner). Determines the size of user stories. Creates and
maintains automated test scripts and executes all other
testing-related tasks. Tests deliverables against a user story's
acceptance tests. Maintains and executes product or service
documentation, as directed. Works closely with other team members
to ensure that features meet business needs. Follows
industry-standard agile Infrastructure design methodology for
development and documentation. Works collaboratively with security,
software delivery teams and other partners. Shift: Hours of work
are flexible (around 8-4:30pm) Skills: Previous experience in
programming/software development/data analyst. (1 -3 years)
Experience working in an Agile Environment (Less than 1 year) Work
experience in a team environment. (Less than 1 year) Excellence in
verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive
communication, tact and negotiation. (Has a good understanding of
the principles and can independently use the knowledge.)
Understanding of relevant infrastructure components and operating
systems and the ability to troubleshoot in those environments. (Has
a good understanding of the principles and can independently use
the knowledge.) Ability to analyze, translate, and define business
requirements into technical solutions. (Has a good understanding of
the principles and can independently use the knowledge.) Analytical
skills. (Has a good understanding of the principles and can

processes, relationships, etc. (Has a general understanding of the
principles and uses the knowledge with assistance.) Technical
knowledge and background across desktop software applications e.g.,
Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and browsers Experience in
desktop technologies (ex: hardware, software, drivers/firmware),
enterprise office applications, web browsers, license/subscription
management, automation & scripting technologies Experience working
with deployment, scripting, and reporting tools including, but not
limited to: Auto-Pilot, SCCM, PowerShell, Tableau, Power BI Broad
knowledge and experience to configure, manage, and deploy
enterprise desktop applications for enterprise use of lifecycle
distribution and updates/upgrades. Ability to apply engineering
principles and concepts for designs Excellence in verbal and
written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive
communication, tact, and negotiation Ability to manage many
competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment
Education: Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or
equivalent experience. (University Degree (4 years or equivalent))
Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent
experience. (University Degree (4 years or equivalent)) Recent
college graduates will be considered if their field of study
