NonexemptPosition Summary: The Maintenance Fabricator will perform all required maintenance of the plant facilities and equipment in accordance with all Regulatory Requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices in a safe, efficient manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Repair, maintain and test plant equipment and facilities as required Safely perform cutting, grinding, welding tasks in compliance with OSHA regulationsRead and interpret blue prints, templates and designsMeasure and fabricate conduit and piping runsFabricate parts, components and structures of various materialsCoordinate and work with vendors and contractors when on-siteMaintain records for maintenance work performed and complete all required documentationParticipate in continued improvement initiative Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools Follow safe work practices to maintain safe working conditionsAbility to troubleshoot equipment Clean building exteriors and grounds, assist in snow and ice removalAssist in ordering and inventorying all necessary supplies and parts to perform required dutiesPerform routine audits for maintenance and safetyPerform work in confined spaceExecute other responsibilities and projects as requiredRequirements:Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Technical/trade school certification Use of hand and power tools - able to perform mechanical repairs Minimum of 10-years of metal fabrication in an industrial production environmentPhysical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards24-hour-a-day availability requiredDetail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and the ability to manage multiple tasksAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyHigh safety sensitive position, must be able to wear a respirator and able to work at high altitudesMust be able to operate a forklift and be forklift certifiedMust be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs., climbs stairs, ladders, frequently walk facilities and stand for long periods of timeCompensation details: 38.17-38.17 Hourly WagePIe5943e7c2cbf-25660-37484501
